Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve (Brighton)

Yalukit Willam Nature Reserve is an urban nature reserve on the site of the former Elsternwick Park golf course. Explore its wetlands, Chain of Ponds, grassy woodland and wildflower meadow on a network of walking paths. The newly opened wetlands include 2.5 kilometres of accessible pathways and provide habitat for native wildlife and birds.
The Community Edge has a covered picnic shelter, barbecue facilities and public toilets. The reserve is being developed in stages, and the Gateway Building is under construction. During these works, access from Glen Huntly Road and Nepean Highway is closed; use the New Street entrance and check Council’s project page for updates.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the reserve. Please keep to the paths and help protect the wildlife and new plantings.
