Owl Land Reserve (Mount Evelyn)
The only sanctuary in the world set aside for the Powerful Owl (Nino Strenua). A few Local pairs come to roost in large hollows every year. There's also other owls, tawny frogmouths, king parrots, echidnas and black wallabies.
The Owl Land Reserve connects the Warburton Trail to Hereford Rd. If you are entering from Hereford Rd, parking is best at Everton Rd. The entrance from the Warburton Trail is marked with large totem poles. Scattered along the way you can find colourful tile mosaics as well as a few information panels about the local wildlife.
