The Highland is the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world which makes meeting them in person an experience like no other, its something you'll never forget but want to relive again and again.
Haukhill Highlands offers private tours where you can brush, cuddle, feed, and learn all about the majestic Highlands. There are calves ranging from 3 to 8 months old, as well as fully grown Highlands with the horns to match, perfect for amazing photo opportunities.
The experiences are offered exclusively as a private session (2 guests) guaranteeing a personalized and intimate encounter.
What You Can Expect
Up Close and Personal
Interact with our friendliest Highland cows through brushing, feeding and cuddling. If behind a fence is preferred we are happy to cater to whatever makes you comfortable.
Introductions
Meet our breeding herd and learn about each cow's unique name, personality and story, hear how we started and our journey to what we are today.
Learn
Learn about the day to day activities of raising cattle, cattle husbandry, how we have tamed and trained and ask as many questions as you like.
Weather
Winter is the ideal time to experience the magic that is "the cutest cows on earth" but take in
mind what is cold and freezing to you is perfect for them. In Summer the cows lose their winter coats, still adorable but not very hairy.
