Llama Meet & Greet

Approximately 1 hour.

Ideal for families with younger children and anyone wanting to get close to these fascinating animals without undertaking a long walk.

Visitors can meet, pat and feed the llamas, take photographs and enjoy a simple morning or afternoon tea.

Children under two can participate free of charge, but a paying adult must supervise children. The experience is not suitable for prams.

Hanging Rock Reserve Llama Trek

Distance: Approximately 5 km
Time: Approximately 3 hours
Minimum age: 12 years

Enjoy a guided walk from the llama farm towards Hanging Rock Reserve, accompanied by a llama. The experience combines beautiful countryside, wildlife spotting and opportunities to photograph the llamas against the backdrop of Hanging Rock.

A simple morning or afternoon tea is included, along with entry to Hanging Rock Reserve.

Domino Rail Trail Llama Trek

Distance: Approximately 12 km
Time: Approximately 5.5 hours
Minimum age: 12 years

Explore the beautiful Wombat Forest along the Domino Rail Trail between Lyonville and Trentham, accompanied by llamas.

The walk passes through attractive bushland and forest scenery, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the surroundings. Participants can bring a picnic lunch or purchase food in Trentham.
