Cat Cafe Melbourne (Carlton)

Cat Cafe Melbourne was Australia's first cat café, opening in 2014. Located in Carlton, it offers a relaxing environment where visitors can spend time with friendly resident cats while enjoying a drink.

The cats have been adopted from shelters and live permanently at the café. Each has its own personality, and visitors can watch them play, relax and explore their surroundings.

The experience is particularly suited to older children, teenagers and adults who love cats. Visitors can sit quietly with the cats, gently pat those willing to interact and enjoy watching their different behaviours.

Cat Cafe Experience:

The café offers a variety of timed experiences, including shorter visits and longer sessions with optional drinks, cat treats and souvenirs.

Features include:

Friendly resident cats of different breeds and personalities
Comfortable indoor cat lounge
Opportunities to pat and interact with receptive cats
30-minute and one-hour sessions
