Werribee River Urban Walk (Werribee)
This 8.5km (one way) walk follows along the beautiful Werribee River on a continuous pathway.
The Werribee River Trail follows the bends of the river past beautiful scenery, ancient river red gums and abundant birdlife. The trail passes through Chirnside Park and Wyndham Park where there are toilets and water taps. Additional toilets can be found at the playground in President Park (take a 500m detour west from this walk at Heaths Road). There are plenty of cafes along Watton Street near Wyndham Park.
You can start and finish this walk anywhere you like along the trail. The following walks cover parts of this walk:
