Yambuk - The Crags

Come for the remarkable views of rocky, limestone cliffs and stay for the wonder of ancient sacred land. With Aboriginal cultural sites this area is part of the traditional homelands of the Peek wurrung speakers and has spiritual connections with Deen Maar (Lady Julia Percy Island). For many thousands of years indigenous people gathered here for ceremony and feasting.

The Crags features striking coastal rock formations sculpted by centuries of wind and waves. Lookout points provide panoramic views across the Southern Ocean towards Lady Julia Percy Island. The attraction is approximately 12 kilometres west of Port Fairy and parking is available near the lookout area.

There are no swimming or picnic facilities at The Crags.
