Wonthaggi - The Union Theatre


The Union Theatre is Wonthaggi's cinema and live performance venue, presenting new-release movies, fine films, music, theatre, comedy, dance and community performances. The multi-use theatre has seating for around 400 people.
The theatre has been part of Wonthaggi's cultural life since 1925, when the original building was constructed by the Miners Union. The original theatre was destroyed by fire in 1980 and the rebuilt theatre opened in 1982.
