Winton Road Playground, Ashburton

The playground has had a nice upgrade around the edges. The main structure is an elevated hexagonal floor which has steps, wave slide, telescope, shop front, tic-tac-toe, cubby seat and steep chain bridge which is connected to monkey bars and a flying fox. There is also a stand-on carousel, frog springer, see-saw, swings and climbing wall in the images of trees.

Beside the playground is a shelter with two tables, unshaded seats, lovely grassy areas dotted with shady trees and an extensive food forest crated by the local community.
