Winchelsea Swimming Pool
The Winchelsea Swimming Pool is a modern outdoor aquatic centre offering a fantastic place for families to cool off, exercise and enjoy summer. Following an $8.9 million redevelopment, the facility reopened with a heated 25-metre lap pool, beach-entry leisure pool, interactive splash park, modern pavilion and landscaped surrounds, making it one of the Surf Coast's best regional swimming pools.
The heated 25-metre pool caters for lap swimmers and recreational users, while the adjoining leisure pool features a gradual beach-style entry that is ideal for young children and people with limited mobility. A colourful splash park provides plenty of water play fun, ensuring younger children stay entertained for hours.
Modern amenities include family change rooms, accessible facilities, lockers, showers and shaded seating areas. The pool also hosts swimming lessons, water aerobics, VicSwim programs and school swimming carnivals throughout the summer season.
