Westwood Park Playground, Walkside Boulevard, Fraser Rise
The playground is packed with fun and interesting play opportunities. The most striking feature is a huge soft mound which has a blue plastic mat slide within a rope net. The sides of the mound have two metal slides, soft steps, scrambling ropes, curved parallel bars and climbing holds. On top are three in-ground trampolines.
Around the base of the mound is a three-person rocker with motorcycle type seats, birds nest swing, four standard springs, big rope hour glass which rotates, fun buggy on springs, sandpit, spinning cup, inverted U-shaped see-saw which rotates, obstacle course in a long line and an area with three wooden cubbies, surfboard springer, hammock, horse springer for two kids and spinning plate with five cup seats.
Shelter with two tables, BBQs, basketball half court, water tap and some fairly limited grassy areas.
