Welcome to the 'Hive' - we are passionate about lawn bowls and it is that passion which has been a driving force behind the Werribee Bowls Club for 100 years!
Lawn Bowls is a versatile game for all ages and abilities, from juniors to super veterans. From Pennant to barefoot bowls, we also offer social games and host prestigious tournaments.
Our venue is a hidden gem in Chirnside Park and well worth a look for your next function.
Barefoot Bowls
Barefoot Bowls is a great way to be introduced to our favourite sport. No experience is necessary and it is great fun! Lawn bowls is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. We have full bar facilities and BBQ hire available for those special occasions.
What do I need? Most importantly to play on our greens you must wear flat sole shoes or thongs or go barefoot. Club etiquette requires neat casual attire. Other than that all you need is to have fun and enjoy yourself! We supply the bowls, mats and even a little coaching to get you started!
Barefoot Bowls Details & Costs
Social Bowls
Regular games are scheduled for occasional and social games as well as competitive bowlers. Drop in and have a chat to one of our members. New bowlers are most welcome and well catered for by our accredited volunteer coaches.
