Warrnambool - Lake Pertobe Motor Boats

Take a self-drive motorboat around Children’s Lake in the Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground. This family-run attraction has operated since 1976 and offers a relaxing way to explore the lake, cruise around its islands and observe the local birdlife.

Drivers must be at least 12 years old. Younger children can help steer while guided by an older person. Life jackets are supplied for children under 12.

Rides are available for either 15 or 30 minutes. Each boat can carry one adult and three children, or two adults and one child. Bookings are not required.

Opening Hours:

Open on weekends and daily during Victorian school holidays, generally from approximately 10 or 11am until 5 or 6pm. Hours depend on the weather and the boats are closed on Christmas Day. Check the Lake Pertobe Motor Boats Hire Facebook page for the day’s confirmed operating hours.

Cost:

At the time of writing, rides cost $20 for 15 minutes or $30 for 30 minutes. Check the official Facebook page for current prices.

Facilities:

Car parking, picnic tables, barbecues, public toilets, walking paths and the extensive Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground are available within the surrounding park.
