Warringine Creek Walk (Hastings)
The Warringine Creek Walk is a peaceful 3.4km return bushwalk through the woodland section of Warringine Park, following the meandering Warringine Creek as it winds through native bushland towards the wetlands of Western Port.
This attractive walk is officially named the Ted Harris Walk, honouring one of the founding members of the Friends of Warringine Park for his dedication to conserving the reserve.

Starting from Hendersons Road, the walk follows a wide, well-formed natural track beneath tall eucalypts, paperbarks and wattles. The tranquil setting makes it an excellent place to enjoy birdsong, native wildflowers in season and a variety of local wildlife. More than 100 bird species have been recorded throughout Warringine Park, making the reserve a popular destination for birdwatchers.
The track gently follows Warringine Creek through the woodland before emerging at Frankston-Flinders Road. Along the way you'll find seats where you can stop and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The surface is mostly compacted earth and gravel and may become muddy after rain.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted anywhere within Warringine Park to protect its important wildlife and sensitive habitats.
