Warr Park Food Forest (Brunswick)

Warr Park Food Forest (Brunswick)

The Warr Park Food Forest is a community project initially kick-started by the Brunswick Neighbourhood House Garden group, who wanted to establish a fully accessible, free public garden for the people in the Brunswick Community to share and enjoy.

Overseen by Brunswick Neighbourhood House, it provides learning opportunities encouraging local food production, healthy eating, and sustainable living, while bringing the community together around with a sense of shared achievement.

The forest has fruit and nut trees, vegetable gardens and a children's play garden. Park users have been feasting on organically grown fruit, vegetables and herbs. The Food Forest has provided opportunities for the community to come together, especially for the volunteers who maintain the site.
