Victorian Quarterscale Speedway (Lara)

Victorian Quarterscale Speedway is a family-friendly remote control speedway racing club based at Little Avalon Raceway, inside the Avalon Raceway complex in Lara.
The purpose-built oval track has an 87-metre pole line and banking of approximately 10–12 degrees. It is about six metres wide along the straights and seven metres wide through the corners, providing plenty of room for the large remote control speedway cars.
The club caters for participants aged eight years and over. Racing classes include Dirt Modified, Dirt Modified Development, Wingless, Late Model, Speedcar, Sprintcar and Electric Speedway.
The racing calendar includes club meetings, practice days, feature races, Victorian titles and major national events. Some meetings are held during the day, while others are conducted as twilight or evening events.
The track is not available for unrestricted public use. Drivers can use it during scheduled race meetings, organised practice sessions and other club activities. Visitors can attend race meetings to watch the action, but should check the current event information before travelling.
