Trentham East - Gold Street Studios

Gold Street Studios is a specialist photographic gallery, workshop and educational centre located in a peaceful bushland setting at Trentham East. Established by photographer and educator Ellie Young, the studio is recognised as one of Australia's leading centres for alternative and historical photographic processes, attracting participants from across Australia and overseas. The gallery showcases handcrafted photographic works by Australian and international artists, with exhibitions highlighting traditional darkroom techniques, photogravure, platinum printing, cyanotypes and other alternative photographic processes.

In addition to its exhibition space, Gold Street Studios hosts workshops, artist residencies and training programs that explore the art, craft and science of handmade photography. Visitors can learn about traditional photographic methods, browse exhibitions and discover a unique creative destination nestled in the countryside east of Trentham.
