Torquay – Surfcoast Gallery

Located in the heart of Torquay, Surfcoast Gallery is an independent art gallery showcasing original artwork, handmade gifts and jewellery by local Surf Coast artists and makers. Founded by award-winning artist Jacki Burke, the gallery features a colourful and ever-changing collection of paintings, photography, ceramics, glass art, sculpture, resin art and handcrafted homewares, making it an enjoyable place to browse while exploring Torquay.

The gallery celebrates the creativity of the Surf Coast by exhibiting both established and emerging local artists. Visitors can admire original seascapes, landscapes, wildlife paintings and contemporary artworks inspired by the beaches, cliffs and coastal scenery that make the region famous. Many of the artworks and gifts are created locally and are available to purchase.

Surfcoast Gallery also offers art classes, workshops and commissioned artwork, including pet portraits and personalised paintings. As a participating venue in the annual Surf Coast Arts Trail, it provides an opportunity to meet artists, learn about their work and discover the region's thriving creative community.
