Timboon Fine Ice Cream
Timboon Fine Ice Cream is a family-friendly ice creamery beside Powers Creek and the Camperdown-Timboon Rail Trail. The Timboon Scooperie occupies a picturesque bush setting with indoor and outdoor seating, lawns and a large backyard where kangaroos may be seen.
Visitors can sample flavours before selecting an ice cream, sundae, milkshake, spider or take-home tub. The range includes traditional flavours, sorbets, dairy-free choices and gluten-free options. Ice cream made especially for dogs is also available.
Timboon Fine Ice Cream was established by Tim Marwood and Caroline Simmons in 1999. The business began as a way of adding value to milk produced on the family dairy farm. Its Timboon ice creamery opened in 2016 and now offers the complete range of locally made flavours.
The ice cream is produced using fresh milk collected from the nearby Doolan family farm, cream from other local farms and locally grown or manufactured ingredients wherever possible.
Families can relax in the backyard, watch for kangaroos or cross the footbridge to the nearby public playground. The ice creamery is also a convenient refreshment stop for walkers and cyclists using the rail trail.

Sundae School:
The purpose-built Sundae School offers group sessions exploring cows and the history and science of ice cream. Participants learn how ice cream is made, watch a churning demonstration and create a sundae using freshly churned ice cream, toppings and sauces.

Access for Dogs:
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas and special dog-friendly ice cream is available. Keep dogs under effective control and confirm current access conditions with staff.
