The Village Park Playground, Taggerty-Thornton Road, Taggerty

A simple playground which is split on both sides of the Maroondah Highway. Beside the junction of the Little River and Acheron River is a basic play area with log stump steppers, lines of rocks and a pipe tunnel. There are unshaded tables and seats.

There are spots for having a dip in either river, with the Acheron River being wider, deeper and faster than the Little River.





There is a road beside the Taggerty Hall which leads under the bridge to the playground.





The Hall has toilets and on a little mound is a shelter with BBQs, unshaded table and shelter with table and some lovely murals.
