The Pyrenees Shire region includes the main towns of Avoca and Beaufort.

The region is well known for its wineries and also has a number of spectacular places for outdoor recreation such as Pyrenees Range State Forest, Mount Buangor State Park and Ferntree Falls.

A large fenced playground which has a birds nest swing, standard swings, reclining bicycle (for the fitness fanatics), clanger to hit against pipes, maze panel, see-saw, truck springer and structure with dual wave slides, single wave slide, fireman's pole, shop front, disks on a vertical pole, rope net bridge, steering wheel, steps, curved ladder, hanging rope net climbing frame, suspended rope traverse, monkey rungs and balance beam with obstacles.

Grassy area, toilets, water tap and two tables under trees. Soft paths lead to all the main equipment. 50m away is a water tap, table tennis table, skate park, inverted U-shaped see-saw, platform on springs and a small shaded metal climbing frame.

A fully fenced playground with a number of play structures. The biggest structure has a wave slide, ladder with square rungs, straight ladder, chain bridge, little metal scrambling wall, spiral ladder, climber bridge with half circles, high flying fox, monkey bars and horizontal bars.

Another lower structure has two slides, steps, abacus, tic-tac-toe, shop front, chain ladder, walkway and steering wheel.

There is a colourful plastic fantastic structure for toddlers with two abaci (hopefully abaci is actually the plural of abacus), shop fronts, tunnel and steering wheel plus train and kangaroo springers. Two swings, both are without safety chains. In the fenced area is a shaded and unshaded seat.

Outside is a shelter with a table, unshaded table, BBQ, toilets and small grassy area.

Avoca Skatepark (A concrete park with a mini ramp with hip and ramp, a fun box with rail and hubba, bank at one end and a manual pad)

Beaufort Skatepark (A small concrete park which has quarters at one end and a flat bank and quarter at the other end. Also some blocks, rail and part of a sphere)
