Swan Reach - Lancaster's Horse Rides

Lancaster's Horse Rides offers guided trail rides through Colquhoun State Forest from a long-established family property near Swan Reach. The forest location is less than 20 minutes from Lakes Entrance.

Rides cater for beginners through to experienced riders and include one-hour and two-hour forest rides, half-day and full-day rides, school-group sessions, customised group rides, pub rides and selected overnight riding experiences. The pace is adjusted to suit the least experienced rider in each group, with opportunities for walking, trotting and cantering where appropriate.

Age Restrictions:

The standard minimum age is 10 years. Younger children with previous riding experience may be accommodated by prior arrangement.

What to Wear:

Approved riding helmets are supplied and must be worn. Riders must wear fully enclosed shoes or boots. Long pants and a shirt or top with sleeves are recommended.

Opening Hours:

Rides are offered seven days a week throughout the year, subject to bookings and suitable weather. Rides do not operate during thunderstorms, heavy rain or when temperatures exceed 30 degrees.
