    Location of Free Storytime Sessions in Melbourne

    It's never too early to introduce your child to the magic of language and literature through storytimes at your library. Sessions are tailored to suit different age groups and include stories, songs, rhymes, puppets, activities and lots of fun. Share the joy of books with your child and encourage lifelong learning.

    All sessions are free and generally no bookings are required. However, some sessions are busy and it is recommended to arrive early if it is your first session at a location. A nice feature of storytime sessions is the opportunity to meet other parents.

    Apart from the normal Baby Rhyme, Toddler Time and Storytime sessions, some libraries offer additional storytimes such as Bilingual storytime, sensory storytime or Auslan storytime. Watsonia Library even has a Reading Dogs storytime with reading dog Carita.
