Stef's Mini Chefs (Mornington Peninsula)
Stef's Mini Chefs offers fun, interactive cooking workshops for children aged approximately 2-10 years at various locations around the Mornington Peninsula.
Created by Stefanie, the workshops introduce young children to preparing nutritious food using mostly organic, fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
The activities are designed to encourage children to explore new foods and flavours, build confidence in the kitchen and develop practical life skills.
Unlike traditional cooking classes, Stef's Mini Chefs places a strong emphasis on healthy eating, creativity and early childhood development.
Kids Cooking Workshops
Children participate in preparing, cooking and enjoying nutritious snacks using recipes that focus on gluten-free ingredients and contain no refined sugar.
Activities include:
- Measuring and mixing ingredients
- Following simple recipes
- Learning about nutritious foods and ingredients
- Discovering new flavours, colours and textures
- Developing basic mathematical skills through measuring and counting
- Building confidence and independence
- Developing social skills through shared activities

Important: These are not drop-off classes. Parents or guardians must remain with their children and assist with food preparation throughout the workshop.
School Holiday Cooking Workshops
Stef's Mini Chefs runs special cooking workshops during school holidays at different Mornington Peninsula destinations.
Each venue offers a different experience and recipe, allowing children to participate in multiple workshops while exploring the Peninsula.

Birthday Parties:
Stef's Mini Chefs offers private cooking birthday parties for children aged 3 years and over.
The birthday party package includes an interactive cooking workshop lasting approximately 90 minutes, where children prepare a healthy cake or savoury meal with assistance from their parents.
The package includes:
- Cooking activities with guidance from Stefanie
- Ingredients and child-friendly cooking equipment
- Tables, seating, aprons and cooking utensils
- A themed cooking and preparation area
- Gluten-free recipes without refined sugar
- Arts and crafts activities
- Time to enjoy the prepared food and celebrate the birthday
Parents must attend and assist their children.
Parties can be arranged at a suitable location, including private homes, within the operator's service area. For off-site parties, the venue must have sufficient space and access to electricity.
Off-site bookings are available within approximately 90 km of Crib Point, with additional travel charges applying beyond the local area.
At least three weeks' notice is required.
