STEAM Centre at Altona Meadows Library (Altona Meadows)

The STEAM Centre at Altona Meadows Library is a specialist hub for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics where visitors can experiment with technology, create projects, attend hands-on workshops and explore a range of equipment and resources.

The centre combines traditional library resources with technology and creative spaces. Visitors can experiment with robots and interactive features, use the Makerspace, explore specialised technology and take part in regular STEAM activities and workshops.

Some technology and equipment can be borrowed by Hobsons Bay Libraries members. Library membership is free.

The centre is wheelchair accessible and has accessible amenities. A range of accessibility technologies is also available through the Library of Things collection.

Altona Meadows Library and Learning Centre, 2 Newham Way, Altona Meadows. The centre is located at the rear of Central Square Shopping Centre. Off-street parking is available at Central Square Shopping Centre.
