Shepparton - The Jodie Ridges Bike Trail

This adventure bike trail is dedicated to Jodie Ridges and provides a safer route for cyclists to travel between Shepparton, Mooroopna and Tatura. It passes through River Red Gum forest and productive farmland.

Jodie lived and worked in Tatura and was a young mother of four. She passed away in 2010 as a result of a collision with a motor vehicle while riding her bike on the Midland Highway.

Distance: 22 km (one way)
Time: 1 hour & 15 minutes (one way)
Degree of difficulty: Moderate

Riders should have a reasonable level of fitness and riding ability and should take adequate water, sunscreen and protective clothing. The trail is not recommended for thin-wheeled bikes and young children. The forest section of the trail passes through flood country and could be impassable when the river is high.

The trail is marked in both directions with small white metal arrows attached to posts or trees. Start your ride from either the Shepparton or Tatura end.
