Separation Creek - Godfrey Beach

Godfrey Beach is a small coastal beach associated with the wreck of the W.B. Godfrey. At low tide, parts of the wreckage can be seen in the shallows, including the anchor, capstan and windlass.
An information plaque and gravesite near the car park provide more information about the shipwreck. The beach can also be approached along the shoreline from Artillery Rocks when the tide is sufficiently low.
Safety:
Godfrey Beach is unpatrolled and has a Beachsafe general hazard rating of 8/10. Rocks, reefs and a strong permanent rip make the beach unsuitable for general swimming.
Only attempt the shoreline approach from Artillery Rocks at low tide in calm conditions. Rising water may cut off the return route.
Opening Hours:
Open at all times. Visit during daylight and around low tide.
