Selandra Community Garden (Clyde North)

Always wanted to have a go at growing a patch of your own veggies but don't have space? Why not consider becoming a member at the Selandra Community Garden.

Community gardens are places where people come together to grow food and other plants, to learn new skills, meet other people and be part of their local community.

The Selandra Rise Community gGarden offers members the opportunity to purchase a plot for a small fee to grow, harvest and enjoy fresh vegetables and herbs. Fees derived from plot purchase are used to cover the group's annual operating cost and for shared equipment, insurance and rent.

Aligning with sustainable living, members can also choose to donate excess produce to the Transit Soup Kitchen and Food Support. Contributions from Selandra Community Garden go towards feeding 100-120 people a week.

Opening Hours:

The garden is open 7 days a week to community members and offers regular workshops such as seasonal growing tips and methods to preserve fruit and vegetable

Located at Heritage Park, Selandra Boulevard, Clyde North.
