Royal Park has three off-leash areas - the main off leash area is south of MacArthur Road and there are two smaller areas in the northern part of the park at Poplar Oval and McPherson Field.
It is possible to find free parking here along Old Poplar Road or the Royal Park Golf Course. The off leash area is just an unfenced oval which runs along The Avenue. There is a water tap where someone has placed a bowl.
