Quambatook Weir
Quambatook Weir is a recreation area on the Avoca River which provides opportunities for swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and picnicking. A launch area allows boats, kayaks and canoes to enter the water and fishing jetties and platforms provide access for anglers.
There are picnic facilities, seating, fire pit and trees.
Tracks and trails connect the weir precinct with Quambatook. A pedestrian bridge near River Street crosses the Avoca River and connects the eastern and western banks, helping create a continuous recreation precinct between the river and town.
