Poppy Kettle Playground, Western Beach, Geelong

Playground is located just west of Cunningham pier on the Geelong Waterfront. The playground is composed of a number of different areas.

There is a central area set on a sloping hill with an elevated platform with access from the back of the hill or via a rope bridge or ladder. Another rope bridge leads across to the start of a long tunnel slide and a fireman's pole leads down to an interesting set of interconnecting channels. At the bottom of the hill is a crows nest reached by a ladder.

There is a separate area with big green Nessie writhing in and out of the ground, expression swing where the parent and child sit opposite each other, two standard swings and an unshaded table.

Beside the walking path is a lovely rock garden with interactive water play fountains with characters scattered about.

There is also a tugboat in a sandy sea.
