Plenty Gorge Mountain Bike Trails (Plenty)
There are at least 25km of singletrack in the Plenty Gorge area. The trails vary from open fire roads to technical rock gardens with short areas of climbing and cater to all levels of riders. The routes can be a bit ill-defined and local knowledge will be useful. These routes are unofficial and there are plans to formalise the trails in the area.
There are a couple of points to cross the Plenty River which do not have a proper bridge.
There is no water available and beware of snakes during the warmer months, especially down by the river.
