Pawfield Park Fenced Dog Park (Caulfield East)

Pawfield Park Fenced Dog Park (Caulfield East)

Pawfield Park is located at The Wedge on the western side of Caulfield Racecourse.

The fenced play space features turfed areas for exercise, socialisation and obedience training, as well as natural elements such as rocks and plantings for sniffing investigations, and agility equipment for additional training purposes.

The park covers quite a large area, half of which has a gravel surface, some dirt where the grass has worn away and the remainder is grass. There is a separate fenced small dog area which is grassy and has a couple of trees and a seat. The main area has an agility course with seven obstacles, water tap and bins. Outside the fenced area is an unshaded table and water tap.

For dog owners there is seating, natural shade from mature trees and drinking fountains.

Some basic PETiquette and WAGulations for all FURends at PAWfield park.
From Dog to Human
  • Keep me safe by leashing me when entering and exiting the park.
  • Stay alert and focussed on me at all times and call me out when I'm being cheeky
  • Be considerate of my new friends and their humans - off-leash areas are still public areas. Stay with me at all times, clean up my poop and fill in my holes after a good dig.
  • Watch other dogs at play to make sure I'm happy to say g'day before we go in (what is my tail doing?!).
  • If I look like I'm not happy with a new friend, please give me and others a rest.
  • Keep us safe by ensuring each gate closes behind us before we open the next.
  • If you bring small humans ('kids', I think they're called), supervise them closely.
  • Don't take me into the park if I'm not vaccinated, I'm aggressive or I'm on heat.
Now we can have a pawfect stay.
