Paul Sadler Swimland Altona is a purpose-built indoor swimming school located within Westgate Sports & Leisure Centre in Altona North. The centre specialises in teaching swimming, water safety and survival skills to babies, children and adults.
Swimming lessons are designed to develop confidence and ability in the water, with a strong emphasis on practical survival techniques such as treading water, recovering in deep water and reaching safety.
The swimming school follows Paul Sadler Swimland's established teaching program, which combines progressive swimming skills with water safety education.
Swimming Programs
Programs include:
- Parent/Child Program - Swimming classes for babies and toddlers aged four months to three years, with a parent or guardian participating in the water.
- Children's Learn to Swim - A structured 13-level program for children aged three years and older, incorporating swimming techniques and survival skills.
- Adult Learn to Swim - Classes for adults ranging from complete beginners to swimmers wanting to improve their technique.
- Private Swimming Lessons - Individual tuition for swimmers requiring additional support or wanting to develop particular skills, subject to availability.
- School Swimming Programs - Swimming and water safety education for school groups.
Water Safety and Survival Skills
