Mt Buller - RockWire Mt Buller (Via Ferrata Climbing)

RockWire Mt Buller offers an exhilarating guided climbing adventure on the spectacular western cliffs of Mount Buller, approximately 250 km northeast of Melbourne.
RockWire is Australia's first via ferrata, an Italian term meaning 'iron way'. The climbing experience follows a specially constructed route featuring fixed steel cables, ladders, bridges, steps and handholds that allow participants to traverse steep and exposed mountain terrain while secured to safety equipment.
Located high above the surrounding alpine landscape, RockWire combines rock climbing, hiking and breathtaking mountain views.
No previous rock climbing experience is necessary for the introductory route, although a reasonable level of fitness and confidence with heights are essential.
Climbing Experiences:
Route 1 - The Perfect Introduction
The introductory route is suitable for first-time climbers and those wanting to experience via ferrata climbing. It traverses two main rock bands and includes wire bridges, ladders and sections of exposed rock face.

Allow approximately 4.5 hours for the complete experience, including preparation, hiking and climbing.
Route 2 - The Next Step

Route 2 is intended for participants who have successfully completed Route 1 or have previous outdoor climbing experience.
