Mt Buller - Bindaree Falls

Located amongst tranquil Australian bush with lush tree ferns, the Bindaree Falls are a short 10 minute walk off Bindaree Road.
This spectacular column of clear water plummets down a rocky cliff and can usually be seen even in drought.
A wooden viewing platform passes behind the falls allowing you to enjoy the curtain of water cascading from the rocks above.
From November to June, the falls can be accessed via the Circuit Road around Mt Stirling. From the turn off to Craig's Hut, continue along the Circuit Road for 10 kilometres until you reach the sign to Bindaree Road on the left. Turn left and continue about five kilometres until just before the bridge. A short walking track up to the falls starts here.
How to get there
From Mansfield follow the Mt. Buller Rd to Mirimbah. Turn left onto Mt. Stirling Rd and follow to Telephone Box Junction (T.B.J). From here, The Circuit Road can be driven in either direction. Follow Circuit Road for 18kms in an anti-clockwise direction, or 28kms in a clockwise direction. Turn onto Bindaree Rd and follow for 5kms. The drive is normally accessible to all vehicles, but can have rough sections. Bindaree Rd is seasonally closed from the Thursday after the Queen's Birthday weekend until the Thursday before the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
