Mount Buffalo - Dicksons Falls Nature Walk
Dicksons Falls Nature Walk is a scenic alpine walk in Mount Buffalo National Park. The track crosses open snow grass plains, alpine wetlands and Snow Gum woodland before reaching the edge of the plateau, where there are views across the Buckland Valley towards the Australian Alps.
Small interpretive signs along the track explain the plants, wildlife and natural features of the area. Summer is an especially attractive time to visit, with wildflowers generally blooming from December to April.
The walk starts on the eastern side of Mount Buffalo Road, opposite the Cresta Valley car park.

The track has natural and uneven surfaces and is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams. Alpine weather can change quickly, so carry warm clothing, drinking water and sun protection.

Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted in Mount Buffalo National Park. Assistance dogs are permitted, subject to Parks Victoria requirements.

The trailhead is on the eastern side of Mount Buffalo Road, opposite the Cresta Valley car park.
