Montmorency Bowling Club (Montmorency)

We are a friendly club, offering bowling to members at all levels and ages, for both men and women. We also offer social activities, ranging from evening meals at local establishments, theatre nights, and a members "happy hour" at the club every Friday, We have special interest groups of card players, music lovers, and a computer club. And our bar prices are low!

The club is based at Petrie park in Montmorency.

Social Bowls

During the summer season, the main social bowls event is on Thursdays day-time plus Monday afternoon and Thursday evening.

Barefoot / Community Bowls

Barefoot bowls is held every Friday Night 6.30pm - 9.30pm during the summer period (November - April). It is only $10.00 per session for bowling, $5.00 for children (12 years & over). There are also full bar facilities and BBQ available.

Pennant

The league format of the game is played throughout the summer and is the major focus for the majority of Victoria's bowlers. Montmorency currently fields:
5 Sides in the Weekend Competition - Division 2, Div 3, 2x Div 4�2
6 Sides in the Midweek Open Competition - Div 1 , Div 2, Div 3 x2, Div 4 x2,
Participates in the Night Pennant

Tournaments

The Montmorency Bowling Club regularly partakes in a number of tournaments during each year. We like to maintain our presence in the area, and take every opportunity to show what a good club Montmorency is.

Coaching

The Montmorency Bowling Club wants to give everyone the opportunity to enhance their skills.
We have a group of accredited coaches that are willing and able to provide advice and support at any level. Whether you want to learn the basics, or how to play the advanced shots, they are there to help.

From time to time, the club will invite high profile coaches to provide their insights into the game of bowls at the top level. These sessions have introduced additional skills and understanding of the game.
