The Merri Corner Community Garden was conceived in 2006 by a group of passionate Brunswick East locals. After lots of back-breaking work to transform a vacant lot we planted our first crops in the spring of 2010. With the support of the Moreland Council as well as donations and help from many businesses,
volunteers and plot holders the garden has flourished.
Monthly Open Garden
Second Sunday of each month 10am - 12pm All welcome!
Join our monthly Open Garden sessions, which include working bees to maintain the garden, plant and produce swapping, propagating, seed- swapping and free workshops.
When the gates are open you are welcome to come in
- Be a good visitor by respecting our gardeners' efforts
- Walk only on the designated pathways
- Refrain from picking anything from behind the garden gates without permission
- Don't dump rubbish or unwanted garden items
- If you'd like to donate something please email the Garden Committee
- Enjoy our Sensory Garden at the entrance and our Mediterranean Garden on the verge
- We welcome you to pick herbs from the raised garden beds. Please only take your fair share.
