Melton Botanic Garden Play Space, Lakewood Boulevard, Melton
A lovely nature based playground within the Melton Botanic Garden with a number of sandpits, waterplay area which has a hand pump, log jumble climbing frame, thick rope traverse and main structure with rope net tunnel, vertical rope net and log steps leading up to a platform with a wave slide and ladder.
A number of wooden carvings and lots of log and stump balance circuits plus a scrambling wall created from slides of logs.
Shelter with two tables and BBQs, water tap with dog bowl, toilets and unshaded seats. The play space is located next to a lake with water birds.
If you park at the main carpark along Lakewood Boulevard, head east to reach the play space.
