Lawson Park Fenced Dog Park (Rosebud)

A huge grassy fenced area which encircles the Rosebud Community Garden. Along Leon Avenue there is a car parking area. Near the entrance gate is a bin for doggy bags and water tap. The water tap is a standard tap without bowl but people have left a few pans which can be filled with water from the tap.

In this area near the gate is a row of trees with a couple of shaded seats. There is a long gravel walking path around the outside of the grassy area. There are also some more trees on the west side.

There are a number of entrances and each one has a bin. People have provided some plastic bags at the entrances but it is always best to bring your own since you can never rely on this supply.

There are quite a few visitors to the park and opportunities for doggy interactions.

In the north east corner of the reserve is a basic fenced playground which has a shelter with a BBQ and two unshaded tables.
