Main Ridge Bowls & Petanque Club

Located in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula hinterland, Main Ridge nestles amongst paddocks, orchards and wineries. The club has a well-appointed clubhouse recently renovated in 2020 and is adjacent to the cricket and tennis clubs.

We provide Main Ridge and surrounding communities with opportunities to participate in social and competitive lawn bowls and petanque as well as coming together to socialise and have fun.

We are proud of our links to the local community, and the use of our facilities for charitable and community events.

Lawn Bowls
At Main Ridge Bowls we believe in developing and improving your game & team skills so why not come meet our bowlers, train with us and improve your game.

Sign up today for your 2 week complimentary try out; if needed we will lend you bowls for your try out.

If you wish to join us for Pennant and/or social bowls, but have not played before, we will provide training and practice sessions. Members are welcome to practice on all other days year round.

Petanque
Petanque originated in France (sometimes referred to as Boules) and is a target sport, where participants throw metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet or jack.

Petanque is a fabulous sport for people of all ages and fitness levels. Come join us to play at the Club. Boules can be provided if you do not have your own set. Of course members are always welcome to use the piste for practice at other times. The more you practice the better your game!

Clubhouse Hire & Barefoot Bowls
We offer an idyllic setting that is perfect for your next social or corporate event where you wish to create a relaxed atmosphere for your friends and/or colleagues.

Looking to have a get together or party we're here for you. We also offer Barefoot Bowls for those sunny days; a game of Petanque with a group of friends avec des vins rouges; a birthday party; a corporate training session, a special occasion, we may have the solution for you.
