List of Pump Tracks in Melbourne and Victoria

A pump track is a circuit of rollers, banked turns and features designed to be ridden using a "pumping" motion - generating momentum by up and down body movements, instead of pedalling.

Pump tracks can be built from dirt, concrete or asphalt. Paved pump tracks have the advantage that they can also be ridden by skateboarders and scooters.

Councils are currently constructing pump tracks in a large number of locations across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Here are 52 pump track locations. Click on the links to find more information such as a full description, location, facilities and photos.

Allard Park Pump Track (Brunswick East)

Small gravel track next to a playground in the shape of a long oval with banked turns at the ends and four rollers.

Norris Bank Reserve Pump Track (Bundoora)

A concrete loop which has lots of bumps and some banked corners within a playground.

Alma Treloar Reserve Pump Track (Cockatoo)

Extensive and intricate asphalt pump track moulded around areas of grass. There is also a skate park in the reserve.

Coldstream Pump Track (Coldstream)
An extensive track with multiple features.

Brompton Estate Pump Track (Cranbourne South)

A fantastic concrete pump track with a large number of rollers and beams and even a volcano. Next to a simple playground, basketball court, bouldering area and outdoor gym.

Dromana Pump Track (Dromana)

Extensive, twisty concrete track in an oval shape with humps, turns and banks.

Montgomery Reserve Pump Track (Essendon)
A modular pump track which is suitable for bikes, scooters and skateboards located in Montgomery Reserve.

Quarry Park (Footscray)

There is a mountain bike park with trails for beginners and intermediates, a skills park and two pump tracks for beginners (gravel) and intermediate (asphalt) riders.

Overport Park Pump and BMX Track (Frankston South)
The pump track, which has a hard asphalt surface track, has an unusual shape with two oval tracks joining together. In total there are four berms and six rollers.

The Hill Mountain Bike Park (Geelong)

The park has a few kilometres of flowing tracks, pump tracks, dirt jumps, drops, a skills sections and berms.

Glenroy Skatepark (Glenroy)

The pump track beside the skate park has an oval shape with lots of bumps and two banked turns.

Bells Reserve Bike Pump Track (Kalkallo)

Formed around a central concrete area with lots of ramps and slopes circled by a path with bumps and jumps. Next to a playground.

Kensington Pump Track (Kensington)

Dirt track with series of small bumps and some larger jumps.

Next to a large playground which has steeply banked berms, rollers and a volcano.

A concrete pump track which has three coloured routes with varying levels of difficulty.

Malvern Pump Track (Malvern)

A triangular shaped track which has two rollers and two berms under a rail bridge.

Meadow Heights Pump Track (Meadow Heights)
A concrete pump track with rollers and berms next to a skate park.

Oakleigh South Pump Track (Oakleigh South)

A concrete, oval shaped track with berms at each end (one end has an optional bypass) and five rollers.
