Le Mans Entertainment (Dandenong South)

LeMans is all about adrenaline pumping, heart racing fun. We love racing. Going fast. The thrill of cornering at speed. The jump scare of a virtual zombie battle. The challenge of winning Lasertag. The excitement of our Ancient Egyptian and Jurassic Mini Golf. The nostalgia of our Arcade Games. Or the well-earned rest and refuel in our Sports Bar and Restaurant. Everyone who comes to LeMans leaves with a story to tell.

Le Mans Go Karts, is Victoria's biggest outdoor Go-Karting complex. Le Mans not only offers state of the art Go Karting but also offers Lasertag, Zero Latency VR, Mini golf and Arcadia.

Go Karting

Le Mans Entertainment has been delivering high-speed kart racing for more than 30 years and is home to Victoria's fastest rental go-karts. The venue features four purpose-built outdoor tracks catering for all ages and skill levels, from young first-time drivers through to experienced racers looking for a serious adrenaline rush.

Adults can experience the powerful Viper Super Karts on the 650-metre Lakeside Track, reaching speeds of more than 80 km/h. The technical 620-metre Penrite Track is used by Sprint Karts and provides plenty of sweeping bends and fast straights for an exciting race. Both tracks are floodlit, allowing racing to continue into the evening and in most weather conditions.

Children are also well catered for. A dedicated Junior Track lets 8–12 year olds develop their driving skills in electric Rookie Karts, while children aged 4–8 years can enjoy their first driving experience on the safe Mushroom Raceway using specially designed electric Mini Karts. Families with younger children can even ride together in Twin Karts, where an adult drives while a child rides as a passenger.

Whether you're racing friends, celebrating a birthday or taking part in one of the venue's popular group race packages, Le Mans offers one of the most comprehensive go-karting experiences in Victoria. Electronic timing systems record every lap, allowing drivers to compare lap times and compete for the fastest finish.

Mini Golf

The mini golf course takes players on a journey through two immersive themed worlds. The first nine holes are set in Ancient Egypt, featuring pyramids, pharaohs and animated mummies, while the second nine holes transport golfers into a Jurassic adventure complete with dinosaurs and prehistoric scenery. Each hole includes creative obstacles and multiple putting lines that make the course enjoyable for beginners while still offering a challenge for experienced players.

Designed for all ages, the course is recommended for children aged four years and over, although younger children are welcome to accompany their families free of charge. The colourful themes, animatronics and interactive features make the experience far more than a traditional mini golf course.

Lasertag

Le Mans Entertainment is home to Laserzone, one of Victoria's largest multi-level indoor laser tag arenas. Featuring a space-themed environment with elevated walkways, narrow passageways, special lighting and atmospheric sound effects, Laserzone offers an action-packed experience for children, teenagers and adults alike.

Players are equipped with high-tech laser tag equipment before entering the two-storey arena, where they compete in a variety of game modes including team battles, free-for-all missions and objective-based games. Every game is electronically scored, allowing players to compare their individual and team performances at the end of each mission.

Laser tag is suitable for ages 6 years and over, making it a popular choice for birthday parties, school groups, family outings and corporate team-building events. Each session lasts around 15 minutes, including the safety briefing, equipment fitting and approximately 10 minutes of gameplay. Visitors can also choose multi-game packages or join the popular Laser Supersessions, which provide up to two hours of laser tag action.

Zero Latency VR

Step into another world with Zero Latency Virtual Reality, one of Melbourne's most immersive free-roam VR experiences. Unlike home virtual reality systems, players are free to walk, explore and interact within a 200-square-metre arena without being connected by cables, creating an incredibly realistic and immersive adventure.

Using state-of-the-art VR headsets and motion tracking technology, groups of up to eight players work together or compete against each other in a range of exciting adventures. Choose from more than 10 different games, including zombie survival, alien invasions, haunted worlds, science fiction missions and action-packed military adventures. Popular titles include Outbreak, Outbreak 2: Mall Mayhem, Space Marine, Far Cry VR, Singularity, Sol Raiders and Undead Arena.

The experience is suitable for ages 10 years and over, with each session lasting around one hour, including registration, equipment fitting, a safety briefing, approximately 30 minutes of gameplay, and a short debrief afterwards. Because players physically walk through the arena rather than using joysticks, motion sickness is uncommon, even for first-time VR users.

Arcadia

Arcadia is Le Mans Entertainment's modern gaming arcade, featuring more than 30 arcade machines with something to entertain visitors of all ages. From classic pinball machines and racing simulators to skill games, interactive multiplayer challenges and prize-winning crane machines, Arcadia offers plenty of fun whether you're visiting for a few games or spending the whole day at Le Mans.

Unlike traditional coin-operated arcades, Arcadia uses a convenient reloadable game card system. Simply purchase a card, load it with credits and use it across the various machines. Most games cost between $2 and $3, with prizes available from many of the redemption games. New games are regularly introduced to keep the arcade fresh for returning visitors.

The arcade is suitable for all ages, with games designed for young children, teenagers and adults alike. Visitors can enjoy friendly competition on basketball shoot-outs, air hockey, racing simulators and multiplayer games, or test their skills on claw machines and other prize-winning attractions.

Review:

In the main reception area upstairs is a kiosk, pool tables for hire ($10), tables and seats, video car games and a podium for the winning drivers to shake their can of lemonade and spray it over everyone within reach (actually maybe that is not allowed on orders from the cleaning lady).

The reception area leads to an outside patio which has tables, BBQ and a view over the tracks on the east side.

This is a huge complex with four outdoor racetracks. On the east side of the complex, for the 4-8 year olds there is a fairly small racetrack, Daytona Track, which has a few little straights and a tight corner. Next to this is the Rimo track for slightly older kids which is very twisty and the large Le Mans where the karts really thunder. This track has long straights and chicanes.

Near the start point for these tracks is a shelter with a table, unshaded tables and seats.

There is another big track on the west side (Lakeside). This track has a big double decker red London bus for spectators set at one end of the track and a few unshaded tables and seats nearby.

It is possible to drive double person karts as well as single karts.

Protective eyewear must be worn on the track. If you don't have your own sunglasses, goggles can be collect at the kiosk or on the track for free.

It is possible to race when it is wet and it can make the racing more exciting. However, if the track is wet, bring along some spare clothes since your pants are likely to get soaked from the road spray.

Le Mans also offers new and repeat customers option of joining their monthly race meets called the Addicts Club. This club combines all the best drivers from all over Melbourne and creates the perfect place to really get into your racing. The racing club is only available for those 16 years and above.
