Hill Top Park Playground, Landano Way, Doreen

The playground, as you would expect from the name, is perched on a hilltop. At the top is an area of towers and slides. The main tower has multiple levels which are linked by steps, inclined climbing wall and little rope net ladder. The middle level has a spiral slide and the highest level has a big curved slide. On the side is scrambling wall and various ladders. A rope tunnel leads across to another tower which has a series of internal levels with a small wave slide, steps and scrambling wall.
At the base of this area is a spinning disk, small see-saw, in-ground trampoline, cup to sit in and spin around in and climbing area with rope net, monkey bars and hanging disks plus a structure for younger kids. This has dual wave slides, steps, shop front and various ladders.
To the side at the top of the hill is an area of shady trees with wombat sculptures, 11 sculptures of local animals to search out and find, balance circuits and framework for cubbies. On the edge is a birds nest swing and two standard swings. The sculptures created by local artist David Wood are Eastern Grey Kangaroo, White-Striped Free-Tailed Bat, Wedge-Tailed Eagle, Lowland Copperhead, Short-Beaked Echidna, Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo, Growling Grass Frog, White-Faced Heron, Short-Finned Eel, Eastern Long-Necked Turtle and Marbled Gecko.
Shelter with two tables and another shelter with two tables and BBQs, toilets and water tap. Behind the toilet is basketball half court.
Slightly lower down is a large concrete pad with water sprays coming out of the ground and water spray trees. On the side is a water tap with levels of water trays which allow water to cascade down the plug holes. A button on a pole initiates the water sequence. There's a shade roof beside the splash park area.
