Lakes Entrance - Portside Boat Hire

Portside Boat Hire has a fleet of distinctive yellow self-drive boats for exploring the North Arm and Gippsland Lakes from Lakes Entrance. No boat licence or previous boating experience is required, with instructions provided before departure.

The available boats include smaller boats suitable for families and groups, along with a larger boat licensed to carry up to 12 people. A barbecue boat is also available, allowing groups to cook and relax while cruising the sheltered waterways.

The boats can be used for sightseeing, fishing or simply exploring the Gippsland Lakes at your own pace. Lifejackets and maps are provided. Fishing rods, crab nets and bait may also be available.
