Kyneton Croquet Club

Established in 1866, Kyneton Croquet Club is recognised as the oldest croquet club in Victoria. With more than 150 years of history, the club continues to provide a welcoming environment for people interested in playing croquet, whether socially or competitively.

The club is located at the corner of Ebden and Donnithorne Streets and has four large croquet greens and a historic clubhouse dating from 1929.

Croquet is a gentle but surprisingly strategic outdoor sport that combines accuracy, concentration and friendly competition. It is suitable for people of different ages and abilities, and beginners are welcome to come along and discover how the game is played.

The club encourages newcomers to try croquet, with mallets available to use while learning. Experienced members can introduce beginners to the rules and techniques of the game.

Both the clubhouse and croquet greens are available for private functions, making the venue suitable for organised groups and social gatherings.
