Korumburra - Cooks Hill Outlook
There are panoramic views of Korumburra from the top of Wallis and Hawkes Road which is 267 m above sea level.
You can walk the 1.3km one-way road (elevation 100m) or drive the narrow road to take in the scenery. This is a used road, so please take care.
Review:
The road is quite steep and very narrow without a lot of overtaking places. For the whole drive you definitely hope that you don't meet another car going in the opposite direction!
At the top there are vistas of green rolling hills dotted with cattle and dams looking back towards the town.
There is also a memorial to Rohan Treacy (28/6/2001 - 16/1/23). Forever 21. The memorial includes a golf bag with some clubs and a ledge with a lot of different beers including VB, Carlton Dry and Melbourne Bitter.
