Killarney Beach

Killarney Beach is a quiet, approximately one-kilometre-long beach protected by extensive offshore reefs. The reefs commonly produce low waves and relatively sheltered water, making the beach popular for swimming, paddling, kayaking, snorkelling and fishing in suitable conditions.
The beach and surrounding wetlands are also good places for birdwatching and beach walking. A boat launching area is located near the second car park.
Killarney Beach is not patrolled. Always check local conditions before entering the water and supervise children closely. Reef, rocks, changing tides and weather can create hazards even when the water appears calm.
Facilities:
Car parking, picnic areas, nearby public toilets, camping at Killarney Beach Caravan Park and boat-launching access.
