Kerrie - Romswood Peony Farm

Kerrie - Romswood Peony Farm

Romswood Peony Farm is a family-run flower farm set among magnificent established gardens in the Macedon Ranges, approximately 70 km north-west of Melbourne.

The farm is renowned for its spectacular spring display of peonies, with more than 35 varieties producing beautiful flowers in shades of pink, white, red, coral and other colours.

Visitors can wander through the established ornamental gardens and peony fields, enjoying a colourful display of flowers in a peaceful rural setting.

The farm grows three main types of peonies - tree peonies, Itoh (intersectional) peonies and herbaceous peonies.

Pick Your Own Peonies:

During the short flowering season in November, Romswood offers special Pick Your Own Peony sessions.

Visitors can walk through the flowering fields, select their favourite blooms and cut their own peonies to take home.

There are two types of admission:
  • Picker tickets - include admission to the gardens and peony fields, plus a specified number of peony stems to pick
  • Non-picker tickets - allow visitors to explore the gardens and admire the flowering peonies without picking flowers
  • Children under 18 receive free admission
The sessions are limited in numbers and advance booking is essential.

Visitors should bring their own secateurs and consider bringing a bucket to transport their freshly picked flowers.
